Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Starsgram, including the Telegram bot @starsgramxbot and the website at starsgram.net. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What Starsgram does

Starsgram lets you buy Telegram Stars with cryptocurrency, and sell Telegram Stars you own for Gram (also known as TON). Starsgram is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or run by Telegram.

2. Who can use it

You need a Telegram account and must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. You confirm that the Stars you sell are yours, that the money you pay with is yours, and that your use of the service follows Telegram’s own terms and the law that applies to you.

3. Buying Stars

The price of an order is shown before you pay and is fixed for that order. You must send the exact amount, in the coin and on the network shown, before the order expires. A payment in another coin, on another network or to an expired order may not be recoverable. Contact support and we will do what we reasonably can.

Stars are delivered to the Telegram username you enter, usually within minutes of your payment confirming. You are responsible for entering the right username. Delivered Stars cannot be returned or moved to another account.

If we cannot deliver an order, for example because the username does not exist or cannot receive Stars, we refund the payment in full, in the coin you paid with, minus any blockchain network fee for the refund.

4. Selling Stars

When you sell Stars, the bot shows the amount you will receive before you pay the Stars invoice. That amount includes any volume bonus for the size of the sale. Bonus rates are listed on the website and may change for future sales. They never change a sale you have already made.

When the Stars invoice is paid, the sale’s amount is added to your balance in the bot. You can request a withdrawal of your balance to your Gram wallet at any time. Every withdrawal is reviewed before it is sent, and we may hold a withdrawal for up to 21 days while recent sales can still be refunded.

Payout amounts are set in US dollars at the time of sale and converted to Gram at the market rate when the payout is sent. A sale is final once you pay the Stars invoice.

5. Refunded and reversed Stars

If the Stars from a sale are refunded, charged back or reversed through Telegram, Apple, Google or any other party, that sale is cancelled, together with any part of its payout not yet sent. If part of the payout was already sent, we may deduct it from your future payouts. We may also pay your future sales only on their payout dates.

6. Wallets

You are responsible for the Gram wallet address you save, and for any address you send a payment from. Transactions on a blockchain cannot be reversed, and we cannot recover funds sent to a wrong address.

7. Accounts

You may use more than one Telegram account with Starsgram. Where we reasonably find that accounts are connected or under common control, we may treat them as linked for these terms, and act on all of them together if one breaks these terms. How we make that finding is not disclosed.

8. Referrals and promotions

Through our referral programme you earn a share of what we earn on the purchases and sales of the friends you invite, currently 20%, added to your balance. Rates may change for future activity. Rewards earned through self referral, fake accounts or any other abuse are cancelled.

9. What you may not do

• Sell Stars, or pay with funds, that came from fraud, theft or any other crime.
• Refund or reverse Stars after selling them.
• Try to manipulate prices, bonuses, payouts or referrals by automated or deceptive means.
• Resell access to the service, or use it in any way that breaks the law.

10. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account, or limit what it can do, if we reasonably believe it has broken these terms, is connected to fraud or abuse, or puts the service or other users at risk. We may hold payouts while we look into it, and we will tell you why on request.

11. Availability

We aim to keep Starsgram running at all times but do not guarantee it. Telegram, Fragment and blockchain networks are run by others and can be slow or unavailable. We may change, pause or end the service at any time.

12. Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by wrong usernames or wallet addresses, payments in the wrong coin or on the wrong network, changes made by Telegram, blockchain delays or failures, or other events outside our control. Our total liability for any order or sale is limited to the amount of that order or sale.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Using the service after a change means you accept the new terms. Changes never affect a sale or order you have already made.
